LEXINGTON, Ky. – After completing the second round of play, UK women’s golf senior Ashlee Rose and junior Megan Moir have jumped seven spots into a tie for sixth place entering the third and final round of the 2nd annual Hooters Women’s Collegiate Team Championship Presented by the National Golf Coaches Association.
Playing best ball, Rose and Moir shot a 7-under par 65 in the second round. Entering the final round, the tandem is 5-under with a total score of 139.
UK sophomore Liz Breed and junior Heather Lott shot an even-par 72 to finish out the second round. Breed and Lott entered the second round tied for first and are now tied for ninth at 4-under with a total score of 140.
The championship will conclude August 4 with the final round being the combined score of the two players. Breed and Lott will tee off at 8:50 a.m. ET while Rose and Moir begin their final round at 9:20 a.m.
