LEXINGTON, Ky. — Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Kentucky baseball game with Western Kentucky, set for 6:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday night, has been canceled, with no makeup date scheduled.

The game was to conclude the home 2011 season, in which the Wildcats completed a 21-10 mark at Cliff Hagan Stadium. UK is coming off a series win over Georgia over the weekend, with third baseman Thomas McCarthy earning Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week accolades on Monday after batting 13-for-19 with two homers and nine RBI during a four-game span.

UK concludes its 2011 season with a three-game series at No. 4 Florida, beginning on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET at McKethan Stadium. Florida enters the series in a three-way tie for the Southeastern Conference regular-season championship. The three games will be broadcast live on the Big Blue Sports Network (radio), with the Voice of UK Baseball, Neil Price, calling the action. Fans in Lexington can hear the games live on WLAP 630-AM, in Louisville on WKJK 1080-AM and online at UKathletics.com.
