Taylor Black started his 52nd straight game at shortstop which is a team-high for most consecutive games started at one position.
o Went 4-for-5 including a triple in the first inning in which he scored the Wildcat’s first run of the game.
o Now has a .347 batting average on the season including five doubles and two triples.
o Had a stand-up double in the bottom of the fifth inning to score the Cats fourth run of the game.
o Was only a home-run away from the cycle, as he recorded a single, triple and a double in his first three at-bats.
o Started the game 4-for-4 until striking out in the eighth inning.
o Black’s triple was the second of his career and the second this season, a team-best.
o Black stole two bases in the game, a new career-high, with a steal of home coming as the first of his career.
Michael Williams started his first career game at first base.

Thomas McCarthy started at third base once again, making him the only Wildcat to start at third base this season. The only other Wildcat to start every game at one position is Black at shortstop.
