Team Records and Series Notes

• Tennessee improves to 31-2 while Kentucky falls to 24-8.
• Victoria Dunlap was named to the SEC All-Tournament team for the second consecutive year.
  • Dunlap averaged 19.3 points and 9.0 rebounds during the three games.
• UK falls to 1-2 in SEC Championship games all-time. All three championship matchups in UK history have been against the Lady Vols.
• The Lady Vols lead the overall series 48-7, including a 5-1 advantage in the SEC Tournament.
• Kentucky is now 24-32 (.369) in the SEC Tournament and 4-4 overall when the tournament is played in Nashville.
• The Cats are now 1-4 against ranked teams this season.
• Coach Matthew Mitchell is now 115-77 overall, 85-48 at UK, including a 1-7 record all-time against Tennessee. Mitchell is now 5-4 in the SEC Tournament.
• Kentucky is now 627-464 in 37 years of varsity play.
• Kentucky now awaits its seeding in the NCAA Tournament. The 2011 NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Show airs Monday, March 14 at 7 p.m. EST on ESPN.

Team Game Notes

• Kentucky’s starting lineup featured Victoria Dunlap, A’dia Mathies, Keyla Snowden, Brittany Henderson and Bernisha Pinkett for the third time this season. This lineup is now 4-1.
  • UK has used 12 different starting lineups this season.
• UK has started a freshman in 101-of-133 games during the Matthew Mitchell era, including 69 consecutive.
• Kentucky allowed a season-high 16 3-pointers by Tennessee on 16-of-21 (76.2 percent) shooting.
• Kentucky forced Tennessee into 22 turnovers and has forced double-digits turnovers in 80 consecutive games. The Cats hold a 56-24 record during that span.
  • The Wildcats have forced 20-plus turnovers in 25-of-32 games this season.
  • UK now has 803 forced turnovers this season which ranks second on the single-season list.
• With 11 steals, UK has now reached double-figure steals in 20-of-32 games this season.
• UK outrebounded UT 46-41 and has now won the rebounding battle in three consecutive games.
• With three made 3-pointers, Kentucky extended its streak of consecutive games with a triple to 255.
• The Cats collected 28 second-chance points to Tennessee’s 11, marking the second-highest total this season behind the 29 scored against Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Dec. 21. It was also the second-largest second-chance point margin (+17), also behind the Arkansas Pine-Bluff game (21).

Individual Game Notes

• Senior forward Victoria Dunlap recorded 15 points and nine rebounds while adding two steals.
  • Moved into second place on UK’s all-time scoring list with 1,810 career points, passing Leslie Nichols who had 1,797 from 1982-86.
  • With two steals in the game and 97 this season, Dunlap moved into a tie for fourth place on UK’s single-season steals list, matching Stacey Reed who had 97 during the 1993-94 season. Dunlap needs just five more steals to tie Reed’s career record of 309.
  • With 272 rebounds this season, Dunlap moved into ninth place on UK’s single-season rebound list, passing Jennifer Humphrey who had 264 during the 2005-06 season.
  • Has scored in double figures 29 times this season, including 20 consecutive and 93 times in her career.
• Freshman Bernisha Pinkett recorded a team-high tying 15 points while grabbing six rebounds and five steals in a career-tying 36 minutes of action
  • Pinkett’s five steals marked a career high, passing her previous mark of four set against Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Dec. 21.
• Sophomore guard A’dia Mathies scored nine points while collecting two rebounds in a season-low 15 minutes of play due to foul trouble in addition to a back injury suffered against Vanderbilt.
  • Has now recorded at least steal one in 16 consecutive games and 27-of-32 contests this season.
• Junior Keyla Snowden scored five points with one 3-pointer and grabbed two rebounds.
  • Moved into a tie for sixth place on UK’s all-time 3-pointers made list with 110 in her career, matching Kristi Cushenberry who had 110 from 1988-92.
