LEXINGTON, Ky. – UK men’s basketball 2011 signees Anthony Davis, Michael Gilchrist, Marquis Teague and Kyle Wiltjer were all selected to play in the 2011 Jordan Brand Classic.

In recent years, the Wildcats have been represented in the game by DeMarcus Cousins, Terrence Jones, Brandon Knight, Doron Lamb and John Wall.

Gilchrist and Teague will play for the East squad, while Davis and Wiltjer will represent the West squad.

Davis currently ranks as the top overall prospect in the 2011 class according to Scout.com recruiting services. He ranks second according to ESPN Recruiting and sixth according to Rivals.com.

Gilchrist ranks third overall according to ESPN Recruiting and Rivals and fourth in Scout’s rankings.

Teague ranks second in Rivals, sixth in Scout and eighth in ESPN Recruiting rankings.

Wiltjer checks in at 15th according to ESPN Recruiting, 22nd in Scout and 25th in Rivals.

Prior to this year’s class, UK has had 29 McDonald’s All-Americans since the game began in 1977.

The Jordan Brand Classic will be played at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C. on Saturday, April 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET.  This year’s event, which marks the game’s 10-year anniversary, will be nationally televised live on ESPN2.
