A loss to Georgia wasn’t enough to damage the Kentucky men’s basketball team’s NCAA Tournament status in the eyes of ESPN analyst Joe Lunardi.
The Cats are still a No. 2 seed in Lunardi’s latest Bracketology projections. If the tournament started today, Lunardi has them playing No. 15 seed Coastal Carolina in Tampa.
Lunardi projects four Southeastern Conference teams to make it at this point. UK head coach John Calipari has said he thinks the league will end up getting five or six teams in.
