For the fifth straight year, an SEC team won the BCS national championship as the Auburn Tigers defeated the Oregon Ducks 22-19 Monday night in a classic in Glendale, Ariz.

The SEC’s current national championship run is unprecedented. Since the formation of the NCAA, the SEC is the first league to win five straight national titles.
