Team Records and Series Notes

• Kentucky improves to 10-1 while Middle Tennessee State falls to 9-4.
• The Cats now lead the overall series 10-3, including a 6-1 mark in Lexington.
• Eleven of the 13 games between UK and MTSU have been decided by 10 points or less. UK went 8-3 in those games.
• With the win, Matthew Mitchell improves his overall record to 101-70 and 71-41 at UK.
• UK increased its home winning streak to 24, including 20 in a row against nonconference opponents. The home winning streak is the school’s second-longest and ranks eighth nationally.
• The Cats are now 333-139 (70.6) all-time in Memorial Coliseum, including 43-10 (81.1) under Coach Matthew Mitchell.
• Up next: UK Hoops will face UT-Martin tomorrow, Dec. 30, at 6 p.m. EST, for its second game in two days. The game will be televised live on the Big Blue Sports Network and FSN South and broadcast live on the Big Blue Sports Radio Network with Neil Price.

Team Game Notes

• Kentucky started its eighth different lineup in 11 games – Victoria Dunlap, A’dia Mathies, Keyla Snowden, Samantha Drake and Jennifer O’Neill.
• Kentucky has started a freshman in 80 of 112 games during the Matthew Mitchell era, including 48 consecutive.
• The Cats made their first seven three-point attempts of the game and totaled eight in the first half, three shy of the varsity record. Barnette led the way with three followed by Snowden and Conwright with two apiece and Mathies with one.
• After UK took its largest lead of the first half at 31-18, MT finished out the opening frame on a 21-10 run to narrow the halftime lead to two at 41-39.
• UK is 10-0 when leading or tied at the half this season. Matthew Mitchell is now 61-8 at UK when leading at the half.
• Middle Tennessee began the second half on a 13-0 run to take their largest lead of the game at 52-41, UK responded with an 8-0 spurt to cut the deficit to three at 51-54.
• UK and MTSU traded two baskets a piece before the Blue Raiders went on a quick 9-0 run to pull back out in front by 10.
• From the 7:22 mark in the second half to the end of the game UK only allowed eight points, all by Ebony Rowe. Rowe was the only Blue Raider to score the final 10:37.
• This was the first game Kentucky battled back from a second-half deficit to win the game.
• The Cats forced MT into 27 turnovers and improved to 19-0 when forcing 25 or more turnovers since the beginning of the 2009-10 season.
• UK has forced its opponent into double-digit miscues in 59 consecutive games, dating back to the 2008-09 season.
• With 12 steals, Kentucky has now recorded double-digit steals in 17 of its last 20 games.
• The Wildcats improved to 269-19 all-time when scoring 80 points or more. UK is now 23-1 under Coach Mitchell when scoring 80 points or more.
• UK hit a season-high 11 three-pointers and extended its streak of consecutive games with a three-pointer to 234, dating back to the 2003-04 season. It was the most three-pointers in a game for Kentucky since hitting 12 vs. Miami Ohio on Dec. 1, 2009.
• The Cats hit a season-high .524 percent from beyond the arc (11-of-21). The previous high was .462 percent (6-of-13) against Chattanooga.
• UK’s bench outscored MT’s 30-18. It marked the fifth time this season, including the third consecutive game UK’s bench has charted 30 or more points.

Individual Game Notes

• Junior Keyla Snowden led the Wildcats in scoring for the second consecutive game, totaling 16 points after netting 4-of-8 three-pointers.
  • Holds the school record for consecutive games with a three pointer at 21. Sara Potts hit a 3-pointer in 20 straight games from Jan. 6, 2004-Nov. 26, 2004.
• Senior forward Victoria Dunlap scored 13 points, all in the second half, while adding five rebounds, four steals and three blocks.
  • Moved into fifth place on UK’s all-time steals list with 246, moving past LaTonya McDole (243 from 1998-2002).
  • Sixth consecutive game with double-figure points.
• Sophomore guard A’dia Mathies scored 15 points.
  • Eighth straight game with double figures.
  • Has scored in double-figures 36 times in 47 career games.
• Freshman Sarah Beth Barnette recorded a career-high nine points and six rebounds.
  • Connected on her first career three-point attempt and added two more in the first half, totaling her career-high in the first half.
