Team Records and Series Notes

• UK falls to 5-1 while Louisville improves to 6-3 this season.
• The Cats lead the overall series 29-18 and are 9-13 all-time in Louisville.
• The series between UK and UofL is the second-longest for the Cats. UK has met only Tennessee (53) more than the Cards.
• Kentucky is 68-31 all-time and 1-1 this season against teams from the Big East Conference. The Cats defeated No. 12 Notre Dame on Nov. 21, 81-76.
• Up next: Kentucky returns home for a matchup against Tennessee Tech, Tuesday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. EST. The game will be televised on Big Blue Sports Network and Fox Sports Network. Tennessee Tech won the last meeting 88-68 in 1989.

Team Game Notes

• Kentucky started with the lineup of A’dia Mathies, Victoria Dunlap, Maegan Conwright, Keyla Snowden and Carly Morrow for the third time this season. They are 2-1 as a group.
• Kentucky made two of its first 15 field goal attempts before Victoria Dunlap’s putback at 11:32. Dunlap’s basket stopped a 9-0 Louisville run and ignited an 8-0 UK run to trim the Cardinal lead to 17-12 at 9:47.
• After A’dia Mathies picked up her second foul of the first half at 8:43, Louisville scored the next 11 points to take a 28-12 advantage at 6:43.
• Kentucky’s lone assist of the first half came when Maegan Conwright found Keyla Snowden for a three-pointer at 4:35. That basket cut U of L’s lead to 34-20.
• UK faced its largest halftime deficit, trailing by 18 at 43-25. UK never led during the game.
• Kentucky started the second half on an 8-2 run, including five points from Mathies to cut Louisville’s lead to 45-35 at 15:30.
• Louisville answered with an 11-0 spurt to grab a 53-35 edge at 13:05. Kentucky never cut the deficit below 10 the rest of the game.
• Louisville was 12-for-21 (57.1) from three-point range. The last time UK allowed an opponent to hit 10 or more three pointers was Dec. 28, 2004 vs. Xavier (13).
• UK forced 21 Louisville turnovers, marking the 54th consecutive game UK has forced its opponent into double-digit turnovers, dating back to the 2008-09 season.
• Kentucky has started a freshman in 74 of 106 games during the Matthew Mitchell era, including 42 consecutive.
• UK extended its streak of consecutive games with a three-pointer to 228, dating back to the 2003-04 season.

Individual Game Notes

• Senior forward Victoria Dunlap put together her 24th career double-double with 17 points and 23 rebounds. She needs one more double-double to tie Josh Mills (25-1990-93) for No. 3 on UK’s all-time list.
  •  Her 23 boards are the most since Valerie Still grabbed a school-record 27 rebounds vs. National College on Feb. 9, 1982. She is one of five Wildcats all-time to grab 20 rebounds in a game.
  • It was her 30th career double-figure rebounding effort and her second this season.
  •  Dunlap moved past Kristi Cushenberry (1,358 points from 1988-92) for 12th place on UK’s career scoring list with 1,363.
  • Dunlap swiped five steals in the game to move past Sandy Harding (224 from 1983-87) for seventh place on UK’s career list with 225.
• Freshman Maegan Conwright reached double-figures in scoring for the third time this season. She scored 10 of her 13 points in the first half and added two assists and one steal in the game.
• Sophomore A’dia Mathies was the third Wildcat in double-figures with 10 points and added four rebounds in 28 minutes of action. She has recorded double-figure points in five of six games this season.
• Junior Keyla Snowden has made a three-pointer in 16 consecutive games dating back to last season. She had three points on 1-of-6 shooting from behind the arc.
