The 2010 John Calipari Basketball Clinic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET at Rupp Arena.
Now open to male and female fans and coaches*, the day-long instructional clinic gives a unique glimpse into the coaching philosophies and strategies Coach Calipari uses in guiding the defending SEC champion, Kentucky Wildcats. Included in this unique clinic, will be a chance to tour the Joe Craft Center and Wildcat Lodge with experts available to answer questions.
“After our sold-out women’s clinic, we had a lot of people interested in seeing some of the same things over 500 women got to see during their clinic,” Coach Cal said. “By opening this up to general fans and coaches alike, we are able to give even more citizens of the Big Blue Nation a chance to get behind the ‘Big Blue Curtain.'”
Attendees will be given exclusive access to watch Coach Cal conduct two practice sessions with the 2010-11 Wildcats (offensive and defensive sessions with an emphasis on pick and roll and the dribble drive motion offense) and be given opportunities to ask questions of Coach Cal and his staff.
Registration for the co-ed Clinic will be from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. at Rupp Arena on Oct. 30.
*NOTE: Due to NCAA regulations, no youths entering 7th -12th grade will be allowed to register or attend.

UK Basketball Announces Women’s Clinic and Coaches Clinic
Update: Erin Andrews has been confirmed as a guest speaker at this year’s Women’s Clinic.
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men’s basketball has announced the dates for the annual Women’s Clinic as well as the 2010 John Calipari Coaches’ Clinic.
The women’s clinic, designed for women with all levels of basketball knowledge, is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 6:00 p.m. ET. Attendees will learn the Dribble Drive Motion offense, get a tour of the Cats’ state-of-the-art practice facility, and coaches’ offices. There will also be scheduled presentations that include behind-the-scenes looks at UK video, strength and conditioning and sports injury/rehabilitation lectures, as well as a Q&A with Coach Calipari, staff and current players.
Registration for the women’s clinic will be from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. on October 6th in the Joe Craft Center
