NASHVILLE — Due to the threat of inclement weather in the Nashville area Sunday, the 24th-ranked Kentucky baseball team will play a doubleheader with No. 20 Vanderbilt Saturday at Charles Hawkins Field. Game one will begin at the regularly scheduled 3 p.m. ET, with game two commencing 30 minutes following.
Kentucky (16-6, 1-3 Southeastern Conference) fell in the series-opener Friday night to the Commodores (19-4, 2-2 SEC) and ace pitcher Sonny Gray, 7-0. UK will send freshman southpaw Taylor Rogers (3-1, 4.75) to the hill in game one and sophomore right-hander Alex Meyer to the bump in game two (4-2, 6.19 ERA).
The games will be broadcast live on the Big Blue Sports Network (radio), with Dick Gabriel calling the action. Fans in Lexington can hear the games live on WGVN 1580-AM and online at UKathletics.com.
