WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Junior diver Lisa Faulkner qualified for the NCAA Championships with a fifth-place finish on the three-meter board at the NCAA Zone Diving Competition held on the campus of Purdue University, Saturday.
Faulkner placed fifth overall among the 46 competitors by earning a combined mark of 627.60 in the event. The score is comprised of both her preliminary score and finals score to make the final clip. Her top-five finish gives her an automatic qualification to the NCAA Championships next week held at the same pool at Purdue.
The junior will join swimmers Megan Pulskamp, Kayla Sergesketter, Chatham Penrod and Lindsey Graessle who have already qualified for the national meet earlier this month.
