LEXINGTON, Ky. — Despite heavy rains in the central Kentucky area, the series-opening game between No. 22 Kentucky and IPFW has been pushed back, with first pitch Friday slated for 7 p.m. ET at Cliff Hagan Stadium.

After taking batting practice in warm, but cloudy conditions, during pregame, rain struck the central Kentucky area, forcing the 4 p.m. ET start time to be pushed back.

Kentucky (10-2) will start junior southpaw Logan Darnell (2-0, 2.57 ERA) in the contest, facing off with IPFW (1-9) junior right-hander Samuel Walker (0-2, 9.58 ERA).

Fans can hear the game Friday night on the Big Blue Sports Network (radio), with the Voice of UK Baseball, Neil Price, calling the action. The game can now be heard live in Lexington on WLAP 630-AM and online at UKathletics.com.
