• Kentucky improves to 14-3 overall, 2-2 in the Southeastern Conference. Alabama falls to 8-10 overall, 0-5 in the SEC.

Team Notes

• Key run: Kentucky broke a 22-22 tie at 5:57 with a 12-3 run over the next four minutes started by Keyla Snowden’s fourth three-pointer of the half. Lydia Watkins scored two baskets in the paint. Amber Smith made a three-pointer and Amani Franklin made a pair of free throws during the stretch. UK grabbed a 41-32 advantage at intermission and never led by fewer than 10 points the rest of the game.
• Kentucky’s 25-point (88-63) win over Alabama marked its largest margin of victory in an SEC game since a 27-point (87-60) victory over Arkansas on Feb. 18, 2007.
• UK shot an SEC season-high 46.0 percent from the field (29-of-63), including 50.0 percent (14-of-28) in the second half.
• The Wildcats forced 25 Crimson Tide turnovers and improve to 11-0 when causing 25 or more miscues. Kentucky has frustrated its opponent into 20 or more miscues in 15 games this season, including three of four league foes.
• Kentucky’s nine three-pointers were the most by the Cats in an SEC game this season and the most since UK made 10 against UT Martin on Dec. 22, 2009.
• UK has made a three-pointer in 204 consecutive games dating back to 2003-04.
• UK has 11 steals and has now swiped 10 or more steals in each SEC game this season and 14 times on the year. The Wildcats have posted 10 or more steals in 13 consecutive contests.
• Kentucky improves to 260-19 (93.1%) since 1974 when scoring 80 or more points, including a 14-1 (93.3%) mark under head coach Matthew Mitchell.
• The Wildcats had five players reach double figures in scoring for the first time since their 87-47 home win against UT Martin on Dec. 22, 2009. UK has had four or more players score in double figures in 11 of 17 games. UK is 3-0 this season when five players net double digits.
• Ten of the 11 players that saw action scored at least one point. All 11 players grabbed at least one rebound.
• UK won the rebounding battle 40-37 and is 8-0 this season when it has an advantage on the boards.

Individual Notes

• Senior guard Amani Franklin registered her seventh career double-double and third this season, scoring 15 points and pulling down 10 rebounds to go with three steals. It marks her third career double-double in SEC play.
• Senior guard Lydia Watkins turned in her best career effort against an SEC foe, recording 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting to go with seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
• Freshman guard A’dia Mathies scored in double figures for the second straight SEC contest, posting 14 points with a pair of three-pointers. She has reached double-digit points in 12 of UK’s 17 games, including 10 of 11 home contests.
• Junior forward Victoria Dunlap contributed 14 points, including 12 in the second half, on 6-of-8 shooting to go with five rebounds and two steals in just 17 minutes. She has scored 10 or more points 16 times this season and 22 games in a row. She has at least one steal in 24 consecutive games.
• Sophomore guard Keyla Snowden came off the bench and went 4-of-4 from three-point range to tally 12 points, all in the first half. It marked her best three-point shooting effort since making netting a career-high six three’s against UT Martin on Dec. 22.
• Junior point guard Amber Smith handed out a career-high nine assists against Alabama to go with eight points and three steals. Her previous high was eight.
