After a successful fall season, the Kentucky swimming and diving teams returned to the water in 2010 for team training trip in Ft. Pierce, Fla. The squad came together for a week-long training trip and braved the chilly temperatures of 30 and 40 degrees to further develop skills and team chemistry.
At the end of the week the team competed in a sprint style swim meet with Indian River Community College, a team that has claimed the national championship for more than 30 consecutive years. Kentucky’s squads came out on top in the dual to cap off the great week of training.
On the final day in Florida, the team gathered at the Andretti World park where the entire UK team and staff were able to race go carts, climb the rock wall and take a few swings in the batting cages.
