- UK scored 107 points in the game. The last time the Wildcats hit for 100 or more points was Dec. 22, 2005 vs. Tennessee State. UK defeated TSU, 105-45.
- All 10 eligible players saw action and grabbed at least one rebound. Sophomore guard Crystal Riley (transfer from LSU) will not be eligible until after the 2009 fall semester.

- Sophomore Rebecca Gray scored 18 points in her first game as a Wildcat.
- Freshman A’dia Mathies also put up 18 points, four assists and two steals in her debut.
- Senior Amani Franklin added 15 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double with nine.
- Freshman Brittany Henderson came off the bench for nine points, 10 rebounds and a game-high four blocks.
- Junior point guard Amber Smith dished out a game-high six assists.
