LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky baseball team will hosts a series of Wildcat Winter Camps through December, head coach Gary Henderson announced Tuesday.
The Wildcat Winter Camps will offer several sessions, beginning with the Wildcat Winter Baseball School, a two-day camp held from Dec. 21-22, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. ET each day. The camp will offer the player the chance to prepare for their spring season in a positive and fun learning environment. The UK staff will teach players fundamentals, drill work specifically designed to improve each campers’ offensive and defensive skills and also simulated game situations. Each camper will be videotaped to ensure the highest quality hitting and throwing analysis by UK’s staff. Wildcat Winter Baseball School is open to youth, ages 6-14.
UK’s high school Wildcat Winter Camps will be held Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 27-29, with each day designed for a different skill set. The Wildcat Pitching, Catching and Infield Camp will be held Sunday, the Wildcat Hitting Camp Monday and the Wildcat Winter 5 Tool Camp Tuesday. All camps run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day.
