New Parking, Traffic Pattern for Volleyball Tonight

LEXINGTON, Ky – Volleyball fans coming to the support the Wildcats this weekend in their two home matches will have a new parking lot to utilize beginning this weekend. Additionally, for the Oct. 9 and Oct. 11 matches, fans should take note of the South Limestone closure from Cooper to Virginia Ave. for this weekend only.

The section of S. Limestone between Cooper Drive and Virginia Avenue will be closed starting at 6 p.m. this evening (Oct. 9), and will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12. Construction crews will be erecting part of the pedestrian bridge connecting the UK HealthCare parking garage with the new UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital now under construction.
Due to construction, a majority of the Hardymon E-Lot located off of Rose Street (located Northeast of Memorial Coliseum) will no longer be available for UK Volleyball Event Parking As an alternative, UK Volleyball fans may utilize the Good Samaritan E-Lot located between Martin Luther King Blvd. and Lexington Ave., directly north of the Wildcat Lodge The entrance to the Good Samaritan E-Lot is located off Martin Luther King Blvd and will be signed “Volleyball Event Parking”
Additionally, the following parking lots are also available for UK Volleyball event parking:
General Volleyball Event Parking
- Student Center Lot – located off Avenue of Champions, south of Memorial Coliseum
- Martin Luther King Lot – located between Lexington Avenue and Martin Luther King Blvd, west of Memorial Coliseum
- Rose St. E-Lot – located between Memorial Coliseum and Rose St.
Handicapped Parking
- Located in the Northeast corner of the Martin Luther King Lot.
