LEXINGTON, Ky. – Linebacker Sam Maxwell and safety Matt Lentz are the game captains for the Louisville contest, Coach Rich Brooks has announced.

Game captains are normally selected on the basis of performance in the previous game. Maxwell had two tackles and a pass breakup as Kentucky posted a 42-0 win over Miami, the Wildcats’ first shutout in 13 years. Lentz was named for his plays on special teams. He totaled three tackles and a pass breakup during the game.

Maxwell and Lentz will join permanent captains Zipp Duncan and Corey Peters at the pregame coin toss.
