LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the fifth time in the past six years, the No. 42 Kentucky men’s golf team will head to the Red Tail Golf Club in Sorrento, Fla., for the NCAA Regionals held May 14-16, announced by the NCAA Division I Golf Committee on Monday.

Among the 14-team regional field, Kentucky will face two Southeastern Conference foes, South Carolina and 2009 SEC Champion, Georgia, in the 54-hole regional tournament.

The Wildcats have finished in top 10 of every tournament during the spring 2009 season, including capturing the tournament title at the second-annual UK Bluegrass Invitational.

The top five teams and the top individual from each regional site will advance to the NCAA Championships held at the Inverness Golf Club in Toledo, Ohio, May 26-30.
