ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – Through 36 holes of play at the 2009 Southeastern Conference Men’s Golf Championship, junior Jordan leads the fifth-place Wildcats with a second round 70 on the pristine Frederica Golf Club course. Kentucky is 6-over par after firing a 297 and 285 for a two-round total 582. The Wildcats are 19 strokes behind tournament leader Georgia.

Blann’s two-round total 137 pits him two strokes back from the individual tournament leader, Florida’s Billy Horschel, heading into Sunday’s final round. Blann is 7-under par after opening the three-round tournament with a 67 and 70 in the first two rounds.

Senior Ben Fuqua’s second round 6-under par 66 is a 16-stroke improvement over his opening round 82. Fuqua moved into a share of the 24th spot heading into Sunday’s final round.

Brownsburg, Ind., native Andy Winings shot a 72 for his 57th career par or better round to place him in a tie for the 34th spot.

Sophomore James Kania shot a 5-over par on the 7,217 yard, par-72 course Saturday and is tied for 47th. Freshman Mads Kristensen rounds out the scoring for UK while being tied for 53rd after back-to-back scores of 78.
