COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Junior Megan Pulskamp and sophomore Lindsey Graessle wrapped up the 2009 NCAA Championships for the Kentucky Wildcats this morning in College Station. Pulskamp was among the field in the 100-freestyle, with Graessle taking part in the 200-breaststroke.

Pulskamp was among a part of 100-free for her third individual race of the 2009 NCAA Championships. The junior tapped in 54th overall in a time of 50.05, just a mere shade off of her career best time of 49.47.

Graessle took part in her second individual event in as many days, this time placing 49th overall in the 200-breast in a time of 2:17.70. Yesterday, she took 48th in the shorter breaststroke event in her first two career individual races at the NCAA Championships.

At NCAAs, Pulskamp scored for the Wildcats with a 14th place finish in the 100-butterfly to earn her first career individual All-America honorable mention honors. She was also a top-50 finish in the 50-free on Thursday.

The Wildcats enjoyed another successful NCAA Championships with every member of the squad representing the school well. The medley relays comprised of Graessle, Pulskamp and sophomore Chatham Penrod and freshman Kelsi Hall both were 18th in the country.

Today’s events wrap up the 2009 season for the Kentucky Wildcats. UK set numerous school records, including the two medley relays that appeared in the NCAA Championships, along with the entire team achieving personal bests throughout the year.
