LEXINGTON, Ky. – Sophomore forward Victoria Dunlap (Nashville, Tenn.) and senior center Eleia Roddy (Columbus, Ohio), who helped the Wildcats receive their fifth consecutive bid to postseason play, were named All-SEC released by The Associated Press.
Dunlap, an AP All-SEC second team selection, leads Kentucky in scoring and rebounding, averaging 12.6 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. She currently ranks second in the SEC in rebounding and has climbed to No. 7 on UK’s single season list with 269 caroms this season. She also is tops on the team in blocks (34) and steals (53). With 13 career double-doubles, including 10 this season, she has charted the second-most double-doubles in the SEC.
Despite four career knee surgeries all on her right knee, Roddy has become one of the most dominant post players in the conference in her final season. She was named honorable mention All-SEC after ranking second on the team in scoring (12.3 ppg) and fourth in the SEC in rebounding (8.2 rpg). The 6-3 center currently leads the SEC and ranks 13th nationally with 11 double-doubles this season.
Dunlap and Roddy also were named to the All-SEC second team by the league coaches.
