BATON ROUGE, La. – The University of Kentucky women’s golf team is looking to continue a successful spring season at the LSU Golf Classic on March 13-15.

Kentucky will compete against 17 teams including Southeastern Conference rivals No. 17 LSU, No. 7 Arkansas, No. 32 South Carolina, No. 66 Mississippi and No. 65 Mississippi State. Also joining the Wildcats are College of Charleston, Colorado, Furman, Louisville, North Carolina, North Carolina State, North Carolina Wilmington, Notre Dame, TCU, Tulane, Virginia and Wake Forest.

Junior Sara Hurwitch will make her third appearance of the season and is looking to continue her strong start after tying for 14th at the Kiawah Island Invitational. Co-captains Mallory Blackwelder and Kristin Vincent, who each carded solid rounds at the Kiawah Island Invitational, will look to build on their performances.

Ashlee Rose will join fellow freshman Alyssa Randolph, who will make her spring season debut for Kentucky.

The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be played at the University Club of Baton Rouge (Par 72, 6,424 yards) with teams playing 18 holes each day. Tee times begin at 8 a.m. CDT off No. 1 and No. 10 tees on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, there will be a shotgun start at approximately 8:30 a.m. CDT.
