LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky men’s tennis match set for Sunday at Chattanooga has been cancelled due to an inclement weather forecast for the area.
The No. 21 Cats were to travel Chattanooga Sunday morning to battle the Mocs at the UTC Outdoor Facility. UK head coach Dennis Emery expressed disappointment about the cancellation of the match but said there was not much the teams could do without an indoor facility option.
Kentucky’s next match begins Southeastern Conference action for the Wildcats on the road at No. 12 Florida on Friday, Mar. 6.
