First-Half Notes

• Kentucky started the game with the lineup of Kevin Galloway, Michael Porter, Perry Stevenson, Jodie Meeks and Patrick Patterson for the second time this season and for the second consecutive game.
• Patrick Patterson won the tip, controlled by Kevin Galloway, who drove in for a layup and scored the first points of the game. UK and Patterson have won 8-for-10 jump balls this season.
• UK opened the game on a 14-0 run, using buckets from Galloway, Meeks and Stevenson, as well as dunks from Stevenson and Patterson.
  • Kentucky ‘s 14-0 run marked its ninth run of 10 or more points this season.
• Freshman Darius Miller was the first Wildcat off the bench, checking in for Kevin Galloway at the 14:36 mark.
  • Miller has checked in first off the UK bench four times this season, tying him with freshman DeAndre Liggins for the team lead.

• DeAndre Liggins was the first to check in off the UK bench, subbing in for Michael Porter.
• At the 7:49 mark, A.J. Stewart drew his first charge of the year, forcing an Indiana turnover.
• After Indiana made a run to start the second half, Patrick Patterson’s free throw with 7:35 left pushed UK ‘s lead to 50-30, its first 20-point advantage since the 16:25 mark of the second frame.
• Darius Miller became the third UK player this season to foul out of a game. Miller has fouled out in two games this season.
• After shooting just two free throws in the first half, UK fired 20 free throw attempts in the second half, finishing the game 16-of-22 from the charity stripe.

• UK held Indiana to just 13 points in the first half, the fewest first-half points since holding Campbell to 11 points on Dec. 29, in 2004.
• 23,767 fans attended the contest, marking the second largest Rupp Arena crowd of the 2008-09 season, behind only 24,109 fans for the game against 21st-ranked Miami . UK has won 20 national attendance titles at Rupp Arena, including 12 of the last 13.
• With a 38-30 margin on the boards, UK has now out-rebounded nine of its 10 opponents this season.
• Kentucky shot 50-percent (26-for-52) from the field, the sixth time this season UK shot over 50-percent.

• Junior Perry Stevenson totaled 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds in 32 minutes of action.
  • Stevenson blocked a season-high six shots, marking his third straight game with multiple blocked shots.

  • Meeks has finished in double figures in 10 consecutive games, marking the first time a UK player finished with 10 points in 10 straight games since Joe Crawford and Patrick Patterson turned the trick in 2007-08.
