Team Records and Series Notes

• Kentucky falls to 6-6, 2-6 in the Southeastern Conference, while Tennessee improves to 5-7, 3-5 in the SEC.
• The Volunteers leads the series, 72-23-9, winning 24 consecutive games in the series.
• Kentucky returns to action in a bowl game, which will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 7.

UK Team Notes

• 21 Wildcat seniors played their last regular-season game today.
• Kentucky’s upcoming bowl appearance will be the third-straight for the Wildcats. It’s the first time UK has accomplished that feat in 57 years, since the 1949-50-51 seasons.
• For the first time in 2008, Kentucky did not turn the ball over. UK’s last turnover-free game came in 2007, against Florida at Commonwealth Stadium.

UK Individual Notes

• Freshman wide receiver Matt Roark made his first career start.
• Lones Seiber, a native of Knoxville, Tenn., made a 40-yard field goal in the first quarter.
  1. Seiber is now 9-for-16 on the year and 36-for-60 in his three-year career.
  2. It was Seiber’s 11th career field goal of at least 40 yards.
  3. Seiber’s 36th career field goal ties him with Taylor Begley (2002-05) for second place all-time.
• Linebacker Braxton Kelley, who recorded eight tackles against UT, has made at least three tackles in 24 consecutive games.
• Senior running back Tony Dixon rushed 15 times for 48 yards, bringing his career total up to 1,299 yards. He moved past Chris Hill and Don Phelps for 20th place on the UK career rushing list.
• Micah Johnson led the Wildcats with 12 tackles, including one quarterback sack and two tackles for a loss.
  1. It was his fourth double-figure tackling game of his career, all coming this season.
  2. Johnson, a junior middle linebacker, has totaled two or more tackles in 20 consecutive games.
• Running back Alfonso Smith found the end zone on a one-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, Smith’s second touchdown run of the year and the sixth of his career. Smith also hauled in a team-high two catches for 21 yards.
• Quarterback Mike Hartline entered in the third quarter and completed 5-for-7 passes for 74 yards.
• E.J. Adams hooked up with Mike Hartline for a 35-yard pass, setting up an Alfonso Smith touchdown run in the fourth quarter. The pass marked a career long for Adams, whose previous career long was a 33-yard catch against Vanderbilt.
• Freshman punter Ryan Tydlacka dropped a 29-yard punt in the first quarter and a 30-yard punt in the fourth-quarter inside the Tennessee 20-yard line. Of his 21 punt attempts in 2008, Tydlacka – UK’s pooch punter – has dropped 15 inside the 20.
• Myron Pryor tallied a sack of UT quarterback Jonathan Crompton in the second quarter. He totaled five tackles, including two for loss.
• Safety Calvin Harrison finished with a season-high seven tackles.
