- Starting line-up: Carly Ormerod, Eleia Roddy, Lydia Watkins, Brittany Edelen and Victoria Dunlap.
- Key run: Trailing by one (50-49) with 7:22 remaining, UK went on a 7-0 run sparked by the post play of Eleia Roddy and Victoria Dunlap. Roddy recorded a key offensive rebound and putback with 6:25 on the clock and Dunlap nailed one of her two career-high three pointers and then capitalized on an old-fashioned three-point play with 5:55 to go, giving the Cats a 54-50 lead they would not relinquish.
- UK won the battle of the boards for the second straight game, outrebounding Cincinnati 40-37.
- After being outscored 33-25 in the first half, the Cats rebounded to outscore the Bearcats 33-22 in the second half.

- Sophomore Victoria Dunlap scored a career-high 22 points and sank her first career three-pointers, hitting 2-for-3 from the perimeter. She also recorded a season-high two blocks in the first half.
- Sophomore Carly Morrow tied her career high in three-pointers with three. She also hit three vs. George Washington (11-14-07).
- Senior Eleia Roddy charted a season-high 14 points and nine rebounds in the game. At the half, she led with seven points and five boards.
- Senior Carly Ormerod ties Mia Daniel at No. 10 on Kentucky’s career three-pointers made list with 90. She also dished out a season-high four assists.
- Sophomore Amber Smith scored a season high-tying five points. She also charted her first season three-pointer. It marked her first trey since the South Carolina game on Jan. 24, 2008. Her four assists were a season high and the most since dishing out four vs. Auburn on Jan. 20, 2008.
- Junior Brittany Edelen earned her first career start.
