LEXINGTON, Ky. – Cornerback Trevard Lindley showed improvement on Tuesday but defensive tackle Myron Pryor’s status remains uncertain for the Vanderbilt game, Coach Rich Brooks said following the morning practice.
Lindley has knee tendinitis and missed most of the second half of the Georgia game. Pryor did not practice on Tuesday and the coach termed him “questionable to doubtful” to play against Vanderbilt. Pryor has been hobbled since incurring a high-ankle sprain in the Arkansas game on Oct. 18. Linebacker Micah Johnson missed most of the practice because of illness. Brooks also reported that x-rays were negative on the bruised shoulder of wide receiver Kyrus Lanxter.
Kentucky (6-4 overall, 2-4 Southeastern Conference) plays host to Vanderbilt (5-4, 3-3) on Saturday at 8 p.m. The game will be a live national telecast on ESPN2.
