  • Tonight’s 71-point margin ranks as the third-largest margin of victory in school history. The largest win margin is 77 points also against Kentucky State on Nov. 24, 1989.
  • Kentucky is in its 35 th season of women’s basketball. Head Coach Matthew Mitchell enters his second season with the Wildcats.

  • The Wildcats outscored KSU 52-8 in the second half.
  • UK allowed KSU just 28 points in the game. It marked the lowest output by a UK opponent since the Lexington Merchants scored just 25 points on Dec. 3, 1974.

Individual Game Notes

  • This was the first career start for Brittany Edelen. She scored six points, the most since scoring six during her rookie season against Arkansas in 2007.
  • Eleia Roddy set a new career high with 21 points, tying her career high with 17 points in the first half alone. She also added eight rebounds, including tying her career high in offensive rebounds with six.
  • Amani Franklin scored 18 points, 10 coming in the second half. It marked her best scoring outing since netting 21 points vs. South Carolina last season.
  • Victoria Dunlap tied her career high in steals with five. She also charted five vs. George Washington on Nov. 14, 2007.
