LEXINGTON, Ky. — Riding the second-longest unbeaten streak in the 18-year history of the program, the Kentucky men’s soccer team has been tabbed No. 24 in the latest College Soccer News top-30 poll, it was announced on Monday morning.

Kentucky (10-4-3, 6-1 Conference USA) graces the top-25 for the first time since the 2006 season, when UK finished the season ranked No. 13. The Wildcats are coming off its biggest week of the season, traveling to No. 14 Indiana and securing a draw, as well as facing No. 22 SMU in Dallas and securing a comeback 2-1 win.

The Wildcats have posted a historic season with wins over now-No. 8 Michigan, No. 18 South Carolina and No. 22 SMU, as well as a draw at No. 14 Indiana, a come-from-behind tie over the RPI leaders. Of UK’s four losses, three came on the road at top-25 teams (No. 7 UC Santa Barbara, No. 24 Cal Poly and No. 14 Tulsa). UK has secured a second-place finish in C-USA, second to current No. 7 Tulsa, who cruised through the league unbeaten (7-0-1), handing the Wildcats its only loss in conference play on an own goal.

UK returns to action on Friday in its regular-season finale, senior day vs. Memphis at 7 p.m. ET at the UK Soccer Complex.
