LEXINGTON, Ky. –

Defensive specialist Laura Stokowski has appeared in all 21 matches so far this season. She has 133 digs on the season, with her season high of 14 coming against Ole Miss on Sunday. As a freshman, Stokowski played in 30 matches and was named to the All-SEC Academic Freshman Team.

Why did you come to UK?

The coaches, the location from my home, and the facilities.

What is you major and career goals?

My major is accounting. I want to become a CPA.

What are your personal and team goals this season?

To win the SEC and make it to at least the second round of the NCAA tournament.

If you had the choice, which reality show would you be on?

I don’t know if this counts as “reality”, but “Legends of the Hidden Temple.”

Would you rather have Misty May-Treanor or Kerri Walsh as your sand volleyball partner?

Kerri Walsh, because she is an amazing blocker. She would make defense easy.

Do you have any pre-game superstitions?

I pray during The National Anthem.

What do you do in your free time?

In the little time we do have, I like to watch movies, hang out with friends, sleep, and ponder the meaning of life.
