  4. You grew up in Lexington but were you born in Kentucky?

“I was actually born in Frankfurt, Germany. Both my mom and dad were in the Army. They retired from the military when I was young but I would love to go back to Germany one day and see where I was born.”
  5. What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

“I love dogs. I have three dogs – two German Shepherds named Dakoda and Mercedes and a puppy Poodle named Kocoa Chanel. I’m sad because my poodle is growing more attached to my mom because I’m not home that much.”
  6. Why did you choose to come back and play at Kentucky?

“I wanted to be closer to home and play in front of my hometown and my family. It was always my dream to play at UK.”
  7. Were you a Kentucky fan growing up in Lexington?

“I didn’t really follow any team except whatever team I was playing for, but of course, growing up in Lexington everything was about UK and so I definitely liked them.”
  8. What has impressed you most about Coach Mitchell and his staff?

“What impresses me the most is their passion for us to succeed on the court and in life, too. Coach Mitchell is always trying to teach us to take responsibilities for our actions. He is trying to help us learn from our mistakes so we don’t make them again.”
  9. What is your major?

    “My major is communication.”
  10. How is school going and what is your favorite class so far?

“It’s going good. I like seeing my old friends from high school. My favorite classes are my communication and journalism classes. The professors are really nice and they allow us to get involved. It’s very hands-on and I like that.”

  12. What is your favorite shot on the court?

    “The three-point shot.”
  13. You led the team in three-point shooting at Akron last year as a freshman. Why do you think you shoot the three so well?

“Besides practicing a lot, I think I shoot with confidence. I also like to practice game situations. I shoot coming off the dribble and off screens and that helps.”
  14. What did you think about Big Blue Madness?

“It was so much fun. I can’t wait to do it again. Just being in front of all those people was amazing. Even though I grew up here, it was the first time I had ever been to Madness. I loved it.”
  15. Why did you choose jersey No. 4?

“When I was younger I wanted No. 3 but it was always taken by the older girls so I chose No. 4. I’ve had that number now since the fourth grade.”
  16. The team is going through individual workouts before practice starts next week. How are the workouts going for you?

  19. What do you most look forward to this season?

“I look forward to March Madness because I love all the competiveness between the teams. I also look forward to helping make the team better. I hope to be a positive supporter in practice and from the bench this year. I will cheer the team on and support them with anything they need.”
  20. What was it like putting that Kentucky jersey on for the first time on photo day?

“I don’t know how to explain it. I was so happy. It was a dream come true for me. A lot of people underestimate me because of my size. Some of the criticism has been pretty hard to hear but I’m ready to show people how tough I am and that I can be a key player at Kentucky.”

“Never quit and that which doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger.”
