LEXINGTON, Ky. – Quarterback Mike Hartline has been named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week by the league office in honor of his performance in Saturday’s 20-14 victory over Middle Tennessee.

Hartline, a sophomore from Canton, Ohio, completed 28 of 47 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns, all career highs. Hartline also brought the Wildcats from behind to win the game. Trailing 14-10 in the fourth quarter, he directed a 57-yard touchdown drive to put his team ahead. Hartline completed six passes on that drive, including a crucial third-and-eight throw to T.C. Drake, and capped the scoring threat with a six-yard TD pass to Derrick Locke. On the next possession, Hartline led a drive for a field goal to make the final score 20-14.
