EUGENE, Ore. ? Incoming junior Sara Hurwitch finished in the top-64 at the U.S. Women?s Amateur Championship to qualify for match-play beginning Wed. Aug. 6, at the Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore.

Hurwitch made the cut by carding a six-over-par 150. The Potomac, Va., native registered a birdie during her first trip on the green Monday, finishing with a four-over-par 76. During Tuesday?s second round of stroke-play, Hurwitch shaved two strokes off her first score with a two-under-par 74, registering three birdies on the last five holes.

The Kentucky Wildcat finished tied for 43rd and is set to begin match-play at 2:40 p.m. (ET) with Lindy Duncan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
