MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Rising junior UK swimmer Megan Pulskamp was among the United States Open field in the 200-butterfly to kick off the meet Tuesday in Minneapolis, Minn.
Pulskamp finished with a long-course time of 2:22.69 in her first swim of the competition. She entered the meet with a short-course seed time of 2:00.42.
The rising junior will also be among the field in the 100-fly slated to take place Thursday. Pulskamp holds the 25th seed overall in the event after earning a seed time of 1:01.05.
Eric McGinnis and Tyler Reed are the other Kentucky swimmers in Minneapolis this week competing for a spot on the World University Games team. Both UK men will be among the field Wednesday in the 100-free.
