LEXINGTON, Ky. — After assessing the threat of inclement weather forecast in the Lexington area for the weekend, the No. 9 Kentucky baseball team has postponed its Saturday contest with Purdue, UK head coach John Cohen announced. A determination will be made on Saturday morning in regards to game times for the four-game series.
Originally scheduled to be a four-game series with games Friday through Monday, the threat of inclement weather forced the postponement of the Friday and Saturday contests.
Also, the UK Baseball Coaches Clinic, scheduled for Saturday morning before the Purdue game, has been postponed. The event will be rescheduled and a date will be announced in the future.
