The No. 55 University of Kentucky men?s tennis team takes it first conference road trip this weekend when it journeys to No. 44 Louisiana State on Friday for a 3 p.m. ET match-up with the Tigers (4-3, 0-2). Sunday the Cats (6-6, 1-1) travel to No. 69 Arkansas to battle the Razorbacks (7-6, 0-2) at 2 p.m. ET.
UK is coming off of a split weekend at home after a victory over No. 68 South Carolina and a loss to No. 14 Florida last weekend. Playing No.1 singles for UK, junior Bruno Agostinelli is ranked No. 56 in the latest ITA polls and is the highest rated player amongst the Cats and their opponents this weekend.
Wildcat senior Will Ward boasts an 8-3 dual meet record this season and is undefeated in the SEC after winning two matches at No. 2 singles over the Gamecocks and Gators. Ward is also 2-0 in conference doubles play with partner and fellow senior Marcus Sundh in the No. 2 slot.
The Tigers return home after losses at No. 21 Alabama and No. 23 Auburn last weekend. LSU is led by No. 86 Michael Venus at No. 1 singles.
