LEXINGTON, Ky. — Tom Csenge fired a team-high 591 air rifle score and a team-best 583 in smallbore, to lead the Kentucky rifle team to a 4657-4620 win over Jacksonville State, Sunday at UK?s Barker Hall.

?I was pleased with our effort, we had a chance to post some really good scores, but let it get away,? Kentucky head coach Harry Mullins said. ?Overall though, I was very happy with the weekend. We had a few 200?s in prone and our prone scores are still very good as a team. We started out with some weak scores in air gun today, but we closed it out strong. If we can start out stronger, we can pick up 10 or 15 points in our team score.?

Kentucky (11-2) wrapped up its regular season schedule with a pair of weekend wins, beginning Friday with a dominating victory over Rose-Hulman. UK faced a stiff opponent Sunday with Jacksonville State, regarded as one of the top eight teams in the nation.
