LEXINGTON, Ky. ? After starting the season 4-0 at home, the No. 26 UK women?s tennis team will travel to Bloomington, Ind. Saturday to face the No. 24 Hoosiers. The match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. (ET).
Recently, Kentucky scored a 4-3 win over the University of Louisville at home in the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex. Kentucky?s No. 20 doubles team of Christine Johnston and Carolina Escamilla, were successful in their doubles match 8-1 against Louisville?s Lauren Imre and Lindsey Jones.
Sophomores Sarah Woestmann, who is ranked 69th, and Christine Johnston, and freshmen Megan Broderick and Alaina Trgovich, all remain undefeated in singles play. Broderick won the fourth match point against the Card?s Lindsey Jones to secure the win for Kentucky.
