Wide receiver Steve Johnson and kicker Lones Seiber have been chosen as game captains for the upcoming contest vs. Florida, Coach Rich Brooks has announced.
Game captains are usually chosen based on performance in the previous game. Last Saturday, Kentucky defeated then-No. 1 ranked LSU, 43-37, in triple overtime.
Johnson, a senior from San Francisco, Calif., had career highs with seven catches for 134 yards, including the game-winning seven-yard touchdown in the third OT.
Seiber, a sophomore from Knoxville, Tenn., made two fourth-quarter field goals to send the game into overtime. In the second overtime period, he made a crucial 43-yard field goal that sent the game into the decisive third overtime.
Johnson and Seiber will join permanent captains Andr? Woodson and Wesley Woodyard at the coin toss.

The winning university receives a $5,000 contribution from Pontiac to its general scholarship fund. Additionally the winning play will be nominated for the ?Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Year? and the chance to win a $100,000 general scholarship from Pontiac.

In addition, each week one person who visits Pontiac.com/ncaa also will win a $5,000 scholarship for him/herself or family. In total, Pontiac will provide $300,000 of scholarships to universities throughout the season.

Tickets that have been reported as lost or stolen have cancelled bar codes and will not be admitted to Commonwealth Stadium. Also, UK student tickets are admissible only with a current UK student identification card.
In addition, counterfeit tickets appeared at Saturday?s LSU game, bearing fake bar codes that will not enable the ticket-holder to enter the stadium.
