INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Kentucky’s John Richardson and Stephan Smith each ran personal-best times in their respective events Friday in preparation for the upcoming 2007 AT&T USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Richardson ran the 1,500 meter in a time of 3:41.70, which is more than one-and-a-half seconds faster than his previous best of 3:43.02 that won him the 2007 Southeastern Conference Championship, his second consecutive, in May.

Smith finished the 800-meter run in 1:49.18, which bested his previous PR of 1:49.56. It marked the first time he bested the 1:50 mark this season.
