The Kentucky women?s soccer team has announced its 2007 schedule which includes five conference home dates and nine total matches at the UK Soccer Complex.

The Wildcats will kick off the season on the road on Friday, August 31 against Purdue in the Purdue Invite. UK will open its home portion of the schedule on Wednesday, September 5 as they play host to Evansville.

Also included on Kentucky?s home slate are matches against Bowling Green, Ohio and in-state rival Morehead State.

UK will play a final non-conference tune-up on Sunday, September 23 at Louisville before opening play in the Southeastern Conference with four straight road games. The team will play its first conference home game of the season on Friday, October 12 against the Tennessee Lady Vols followed by three straight home games against Georgia, Arkansas and LSU.

A match-up against Ole Miss on Sunday, October 28 will close out the Wildcats? home schedule, while a trip to Nashville to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores on Friday, November 2 will end UK?s 2008 regular season.

For the fifth straight season, the SEC will hold its postseason tournament in Orange Beach, Alabama. The Wildcats will look to become the only school in conference history to make an appearance in all 14 conference tournaments. Kentucky won the tournament last year for the second time in school history.
