The Wildcats (14-9, 3-5 SEC), who are seeking first win over Florida in Memorial Coliseum since 2003, are coming off a gut-wrenching one-point loss to No. 15 Vanderbilt in Memorial on Thursday. UK took a 62-61 lead with 11 seconds remaining in the game after a layup by freshman reserve Amani Franklin. Vanderbilt called a timeout with less than six seconds to go. Commodore Dee Davis dribbled the court and made a driving layup with 1.6 seconds left to give Vanderbilt the one-point win. Seniors Jennifer Humphrey and Nastassia Alcius led the Wildcats in scoring with 16 and 14 points, respectively. Humphrey also grabbed a game-high nine rebounds as the Cats won the battle of the boards 35-20, their largest margin in SEC play.

?I know Florida?s coming in here very hungry to get a win, and we are too,? DeMoss said. ?We?ve lost some very close ones at the buzzer, and we?re ready to get back on the court to get a win. Florida?s hungry and young and they want a win. So we?re going to have to focus and work hard.?
