LEXINGTON ? For the second time in as many months, Kentucky soccer standouts Michael D?Agostino and Masumi Turnbull travel to Florida to take place in a training camp for the Canadian U-20 National Team.

The pair are two of 20 players invited to the training camp, which is to prepare Canada for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which is the second largest in the world only to the FIFA World Cup. This camp will consist not only of North American based players, but also includes five players on European clubs who were not able to attend the December camp. Both D?Agostino and Turnbull are among 14 holdovers from the December camp.

In the group of 20, D?Agostino has the most international experience with 12 caps at the U-20 level, including one against the US U-20 team just a month ago. Turnbull started in that game, earning his third career cap. The pair hopes to join former Wildcat star Riley O?Neill as UK players to play in the prestigious U-20 World Cup. O?Neill competed for Canada in the event in 2005.

The camp runs from Jan. 10-22 in Sunrise, Fla., and includes another friendly against the US team before the Americans begin CONCACAF qualifying for the U-20 World Cup, which will be hosted by Canada this July. The Canadian?s plan to host their two international matches against Scotland in late March.
