NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Kentucky football team continued preparations for the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl Presented by Bridgestone with a two-hour, 15-minute practice Wednesday afternoon at the McGugin Center practice field at Vanderbilt University.

The Wildcats were much more comfortable in Wednesday’s workout, as sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 40s were much improved over Tuesday’s cold, cloudy conditions.

Coach Rich Brooks announced that sophomore wide receiver David Jones is doubtful for the bowl game after sustaining a hyperextended knee in Tuesday’s practice. Jones was to undergo an MRI test Wednesday afternoon to ascertain the extent of the injury.

On Wednesday night, the Kentucky and Clemson teams will have a players-only party. On Thursday, the Wildcats will have meetings and a brief walk-through practice. Coaches Rich Brooks and Tommy Bowden will have a joint news conference at LP Field.
