LEXINGTON ? Kentucky?s Michael D?Agostino and Masumi Turnbull have been invited to training camp for the Canadian U-20 National Team through Dec. 21 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

The highlight of the camp is a friendly against the United States U-20 team, slated for Dec. 20 at 3:30 p.m. ET. Both D?Agostino and Turnbull were on the roster for Canada?s two-game friendly series against the US last summer. D?Agostino currently has eight career caps while Turnbull has two.

The training camp gives Canada manager Dale Mitchell an opportunity to evaluate a core group of players as he prepares to choose his roster for the FIFA U-20 World Cup this summer, for which Canada is the host nation.

This past season, D?Agostino and Turnbull anchored Kentucky?s midfield, combining for eight goals and 13 assists while each earned All-Conference USA honors. The pair were just two of three Wildcats to start all 21 games and they ranked first and third on the team in minutes played.
