SOUTHERN PINES, N.C.?The University of Kentucky women?s golf team holds 10th place after two rounds of the Ross Resorts Invitational hosted by Rollins College, Monday. The tournament is being played at the Pine Needles Course in Southern Pines, N.C.

Kentucky shot 325-315 in the two rounds played today and trail ninth place Richmond by three shots. Host Rollins College leads the tournament after carding team scores of 306 and 294. Rollins? Vanessa Vela leads the individual leaderboard with a two-under-par score for the tournament. The second place golfer is at five-over-par.

Senior Marissa Muir leads the Wildcats after two rounds, with a 15-over-par two round total. All four Lady Cats are within two shots of one another. Muir is in a tie for 32nd place. Freshman Erica Still tied for 35th with a 16-over-par. Senior Katie Johnson and junior Beth Felts both carded 17-over-pars for the day and are tied for 43rd.

Kentucky resumes action in the final day of play at the Ross Resorts Invitational. The tournament field will play 18 holes beginning at 8 a.m., with a tournament champion to be crowned sometime Tuesday afternoon.
