Sophomore cornerback Shomari Moore and senior long snapper Jason Dickerson have been named game captains for Saturday?s game at Louisiana State, Coach Rich Brooks has announced.

Game captains are normally selected based on performance in the previous game. Dickerson (Elizabethtown, Ky.) did a good job with his long snaps vs. South Carolina and made a smashing block on Tim Masthay?s 17-yard run on a fake punt. This is the third time in his career that he has been named game captain, once each in 2004, ?05, and ?06. Moore (Camden, N. J.) had a career-high seven tackles and an interception against the Gamecocks. Dickerson and Moore will join permanent captains Lamar Mills and Keenan Burton for the pregame coin toss.

Scout Team Players of the Week: Kentucky?s Scout Team Players of the Week in preparation for the South Carolina game were freshman wide receiver Andre Henderson (Lexington, Ky.), junior defensive end Travis Day (Columbus, Ga.) and junior safety Dallas Greer (Pineville, Ky.) for special teams.
