LEXINGTON, Ky. ? For her efforts at the Cougar Classic freshman Erica Still is this week?s women?s golfer of the week as named by the coaching staff.

The Waycross, Ga., native playing in her first ever collegiate tournament fired an opening round even-par. The round would end up being the lowest round of any UK golfer over the course of the tournament.

She followed with second and third rounds of 75 and 78 respectively to finish the tournament tied for 32nd place. Still?s overall score of 225, nine-over-par, was the team?s best. The freshman is the second in three seasons to lead the Wildcats in scoring in the team?s inaugural event.

?Erica played really solid all the way through,? said Coach Stephanie Barker. ?One hole jumped up and grabbed her the last day, but she had a fantastic tournament.?
